Joh, pronounced "jooh", is a village located in Una district, in the northern state of Himachal Pradesh. The village is located on a 585 m hill, 8 km from Dalautpur town. The village is also near Pong Dam, Chintpurni temple, It contains four villages: Saloh, Pirthipur, Beh, and Sikri. It is believed that, before 1002, no one lived at the location. In 1002, a famine occurred in Ramsar Tehsil, Barmaer, Rajasthan. A Mewari Bhramin family and a tribal family then moved into the area in search of food, water and shelter, and founded the municipality. ==Miscellaneous== Joh's population is 7,897, with a density of 4 persons per km2.
